This version of A2 offers the capability to capture three points per surface, enhancing accuracy for land measurements.

A2 is a specialized application designed for the assessment of land area, perimeter, and distances. It is suitable for use across diverse global terrains and various land types.

The application provides precise measurement and visualization of perimeters and intermediate distances for multiple plots. Users can display measurements in units such as feet, inches, yards, or meters.

Furthermore, A2 integrates an overlay of the French land registry directly onto the map, significantly improving the measurement accuracy of parcels—a feature particularly valuable for geometers and land surveyors.

Plan management is flexible: users can save, edit, and export plans via email in formats compatible with software like Google Earth, Google Maps, and SketchUp (KML), as well as AutoCAD (DXF). The program also supports importing KML files for further analysis.

The software offers three operational modes to suit different scenarios:

• GPS Mode: Users on-site confirm a series of points by leveraging GPS data to outline the terrain accurately.
• Manual Mode: Users manually select points by navigating the map without GPS input.
• Mixed Mode: Combines on-ground GPS point collection with manual adjustments, suitable for difficult-to-access areas.

Each time a point is added, the application calculates and displays the corresponding surface area in multiple units: square meters, square feet, square yards, ares, or hectares.

• A dedicated "Information" button providing detailed GPS localization data.
• An export function to send plans via email in KML format, facilitating easy sharing and integration with other mapping platforms.
• Importation of KML files directly into the application for further processing.
• A backup list displaying saved areas along with their respective perimeters and surface measurements.
• "Undo" and "Redo" functions to reverse or reinstate recent actions effectively.
