This version of A2 offers the capability to capture three points per surface, enhancing accuracy for land measurements.

A2 is a specialized application designed for the assessment of land area, perimeter, and distances. It is suitable for use across diverse global terrains and various land types.

The application provides precise measurement and visualization of perimeters and intermediate distances for multiple plots. Users can display measurements in units such as feet, inches, yards, or meters.

Furthermore, A2 integrates an overlay of the French land registry directly onto the map, significantly improving the measurement accuracy of parcels—a feature particularly valuable for geometers and land surveyors.

Plan management is flexible: users can save, edit, and export plans via email in formats compatible with software like Google Earth, Google Maps, and SketchUp (KML), as well as AutoCAD (DXF). The program also supports importing KML files for further analysis.

The software offers three operational modes to suit different scenarios:
<ul>
<li>GPS Mode: Users on-site confirm a series of points by leveraging GPS data to outline the terrain accurately.</li>
<li>Manual Mode: Users manually select points by navigating the map without GPS input.</li>
<li>Mixed Mode: Combines on-ground GPS point collection with manual adjustments, suitable for difficult-to-access areas.</li>
</ul>

Each time a point is added, the application calculates and displays the corresponding surface area in multiple units: square meters, square feet, square yards, ares, or hectares.

Additional features include:
<ul>
<li>The ability to measure multiple surfaces on a single plane.</li>
<li>Cumulative distance measurement across multiple segments.</li>
<li>Visualization of perimeter and intermediate distances for comprehensive site analysis.</li>
<li>A compass and altitude display to facilitate accurate geolocation.</li>
<li>Point coordinate information available at any time for precise referencing.</li>
<li>The option to move individual points manually to refine plots by dragging with a finger.</li>
<li>Individual point deletion for plan corrections.</li>
<li>Insertion of new points between existing ones to enhance plan accuracy.</li>
<li>Continuous display of calculated surface area as points are added or adjusted.</li>
<li>An archiving function that allows users to save and reopen multiple plans with custom names for ongoing editing and analysis.</li>
<li>A GPS reception indicator that uses color coding—green for good, orange for moderate, red for poor—to inform about signal quality.</li>
<li>A dedicated "Information" button providing detailed GPS localization data.</li>
<li>An export function to send plans via email in KML format, facilitating easy sharing and integration with other mapping platforms.</li>
<li>Importation of KML files directly into the application for further processing.</li>
<li>A backup list displaying saved areas along with their respective perimeters and surface measurements.</li>
<li>"Undo" and "Redo" functions to reverse or reinstate recent actions effectively.</li>
</ul>

The application includes several measurement options:
<ul>
<li>Selectable units for length: meters, inches, feet, yards.</li>
<li>Surface unit options: square meters, square feet, square yards, are, hectares.</li>
<li>Map display modes: Standard Map, Satellite View, Hybrid (combination of map and satellite imagery).</li>
<li>GPS accuracy settings allowing users to restrict point capture based on signal quality (<100m, <10m, <5m), ensuring data reliability in various conditions.</li>
<li>An overlay of the French Land Registry can be displayed directly on the map for cadastral referencing purposes.</li>
</ul>
